Natural Hair

Our natural crowns come in many shapes and sizes, just as our bodies do.

The western society has come to be more accepting of the many variations of the female body. However, the fight against the discrimination of Afro/ Caribbean hair is still an issue. Our crowns stand tall and wide and while we can even wear them straight and long, we shouldn’t have to in order to be accepted. They’re another one of our beauties. The variation of our hair; the individuality of each and every strand and what we can do with them. Wearing our hair straight means we can ‘fit in’, but whose to say that’s what us Black Beauties want. Do we want to fit in? I personally feel we were created to stand out, be bold and be proud.
